I have a question about genetics that is not related to color, I am interested in flower size (or plant size, if that is not a separate issue). I am interested in reducing flower (and plant) size because I am breeding for MTBs using TB and BB parents. Some iris have been identified as minimizers, reducing the size of whatever they are bred to, but these seem to be few and far between (or perhaps few people have looked for them). Can anyone give me any insight on what might be involved here?
