Bill, if I understand what you're asking, Paul Black has a line of smaller blooms. I don't remember the names of the specific irises but they should be on the Mid-America website.

Subject: [iris] more genetics

I have a question about genetics that is not related to color, I am interestedin flower size (or plant size, if that is not a separate issue). I aminterested in reducing flower (and plant) size because I am breeding for MTBsusing TB and BB parents. Some iris have been identified as minimizers, reducing the size of whatever they are bred to, but these seem to be few andfar between (or perhaps few people have looked for them). Can anyone give meany insight on what might be involved here?THANKS-------------------------------------------------------------- -------To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with themessage text UNSUBSCRIBE IRIS
