Re: Reliability of AOL

Another factor in the AOL overload is their having discontinued their
subordinate server, GNN, which Henry and I had settled very happily with.
Having already shopped trial offers for six months and elimated some servers
for cause, we figured we would just go ahead and segue to AOL and let it all
sift out for a while. We cannot be the only ones. Access, formally a given,
is now difficult except in the hours before noon. In time ATT will get the
knots out of their operation and present a viable alternative. We are
watching them closely.
