Absolutely fantastic idea - it could even become a global iris award if it
grew well in UK, NZ, Oz and SA too - national iris societies in those
countries could input experiences.
AIS could sponsor distribution of AM winning iris to selected trial gardens
in different areas. I would be prepared to helpin this respect, although I'm
not an accredited judge (two live within 45 minutes drive)
