Thanks for your warm welcome from cold Roanoke (and confirmation that I am
both sending and receiving).

We are in the midst of our 4th snowstorm this week, but then our standard
issue license plates proclaim "Greatest Snow on Earth!" - it is great for
the iris, too - makes the best "mulch" for keeping them cosy during the
winter and the meltwater is our source of irrigation to keep them from
drying out and blowing away during our arid summers.
