I was talking over the week-end with a somewhat prominent
hybridizer of TB's who said that neither THORNBIRD nor CONJURATION would
win the Dykes this year. Rather, the winner would be a 'dark horse'
bearded which he would not name.
In looking at the '96 AIS Awards, I see the following as
candidates with their votes for last year.
LENORA PEARL BB 113
LEMON POP SDB 97
SHAKER'S PRAYER SIB 96 (I know this is not a bearded but
the vote was so close to the other bearded above).
BUMBLEBEE DEELITE MTB 95
SONJA'S SELAH BB 64
Is one of these the 'dark horse,' or is it something else?
