HYB: heredity of umbrata pattern?

To dredge up an old topic - I am trying to learn more about heredity of
iris colors/patterns etc, and have checked the archived discussion of
the umbrata (big spot) pattern and can't find anything about whether
it's dominant or not. I crossed MAGIC MAN with INTO THE NIGHT and was
going to try to figure out possible children. Is the heredity of this
big spot pattern the same as heredity of thumbprint spots?

Way back, Tom Little posted a list of dominant and recessive genes
related to color. In that table in the <Pl, pl, pl-l, pl-a> gene list
for purple plicatas, luminatas, and ?glaciatas, there isn't one for
solid banded (haloed) purples (comparable to the <H> for halo in the
yellow/pink pigment heredity) and no distinction between dotted and
'hatched' plicata pattern.

Is the heredity of these patterns known?
