Re: rebloomers in zone four

 97 was our first attempt at rebloomers,  Bevi Queen,Dashing,Witch of
Endor,Shookeimchuck,Royal Summer, Tawny,Dark Crystal, Lo Ho Silver, Cry
Baby,Pink Fawn and Eleanor Rosevelt bloomed for us.  I selected these
under Reliable rebloomer information.  We usually have temps to -20 and
 snow cover.  During the freeze/thaw time in the spring I check for rot
and use Comet and cut off the questional part of the rihizome,  So far
this has worked for us.  I plan to use alfalfa on the rebloomers after
the spring bloom and hope they continue to bloom.  I do not have all of
my rebloomers in the same bed, but I probably should do something about
that after spring bloom.  There is a member of the Big Sky Iris club
working on rebloomers for this zone.  Janet
