OT-BIO: Benny Moller Jensen

Hello Iris friends,

Thanks for letting me join your mailing list.

Im 33 year old and a plant lover, I mostly grow Hardy cacti in our
garden but, I do have room for Iris too. My wife Connie and I live in
the northern part of Denmark, just outside the city of Hjorring. I work
as a foreman on a industrial bookbindery. Our garden is 2600 square
meters, and we have lived and gardening here for 6 years. The Iris I
grow is mostly median and dwarf bearded irises but I have a few species
grown from seed too. Im a member of the Danish Lily and Iris society I
do not join any of there meeting while they are often in the other end
of the country.
However I hope to meet some of them, in this forum.
Our minimums temperature in the garden is -21 C, but this winter the
lovest temperature has been -10 C, but it is several week since we have
experience any frost at all, and I have a Gentiana acaulis in flower in
my potbeds!!!!
