Dear Sharon,
Steve and I would like to thank you for all the wonderful information that
you shared last year. We found every letter both interesting and
informative.
For your 201 class, I would be especially interested in ideas for
crossing arilbreds with TBS. Is there any way to predict what colors you
will get? We learned a lot with Tom's chart on crossingTBS. Are some
arilbreds easier to cross than others? We only ended up with one cross
that took with our arilbreds.
A few arilbreds seem to look more like fancy TBS. Is there anyway when
crossing to predict which side of the family the seedlings will take after?
I know these seem like basic questions that maybe can only be answered by
experimenting. I have a special love for arilbreds and would love to
develop in this area.
Sharlyn
