RE: info:TB&MDI

Adding to Walter's reply. The resulting IB will depend on how much
pumila is in the SDB used. Those with a lot of pumila will bloom
earlier and tend to be shorter.

I am not a hybridizer but am a collector of hybridizing information
until I find and afford a piece of land big enough for all the
experiments I want to try.

Our first practice crosses are germinating. Now we know that we can
successfully carry out a cross. We did a few TB-SDB crosses as they
were blooming at the same time due to the long cool spring and sudden
emergence of high summer. I will report the results, but we did each
cross only once as this was a practice run.
