The message Mike Lowe sent about the work of J. Arthur and Irene
Nelson on color classification reminded me that I've been meaning to
ask for some information about a TB cultivar named IRENE NELSON.
I had this for several years, then lost it a few years ago for
reasons I don't even remember. I always wanted to get it again, as I
thought it a beautiful iris, and it had grown and increased well over
the years. I got it from Schreiner's back in about 1982, but I can't
find it in anybody's catalog anymore, nor have I spotted it in any
garden I've visited. So, to get to the point, can anyone tell me
where I can find and buy this beauty again? I met the lady herself
once, which made me want the iris all the more.
