Ducks...> No other animal to my knowledge eats them.
Blue gill and other fish love them. Use a small float about a foot
above a #10 hook - float them down the creek.
Do Japanese beetles harm irises?
When they first invade an area, they will defoliate everything, but
after that population boom, they decrease to a barely noticeable level,
or at least they did here. About the third year after they first
arrived, they were so abundant, they literally stripped the leaves off
the trees in my yard. Now the only places I can find them are on grape
leaves and soft fruit (blackberries etc).
