I'm in zone 6, in northeastern New Jersey.
The infected bed is planted between the sidewalk and curb on a corner
property. It gets full sun and has excellent drainage. (To the
extent that in hot weather I try to water the annuals and calla
lilys, that are also further along but beween the curb and sidewalk,
twice a day.
Thanks for the many responses pointing out why I should have clear
not black plastic. Will buy some tomorrow and replace what's down;
had an eye exam this morning and still can't see well enough to
drive.
One response has suggested that maybe I'm identifying nematodes which
I did inject into the ground a few weeks ago. Can anyone tell me a
link that would provide a picture of nematodes? I wondered if this
was a possibility in the wee hours of the morning.
Thanks to all for your help and insight, please continue to educate
me. Donna Rascalbob13@cs.com
