Blue colour is controlled by the same genes as purples, rose etc. Therefore
if the purple and rose are being expressed, any blue genes present would be
also. However if there were genes for both blue and rose expressed, it is
possible that the final colour could appear as a purple. However if there
are no blues in the whole batch and all show some anthocyanin expression,
it's probable that no blue genes came through.
