Hi everyone,
I'm new in iris-talk, I'm french, 34 years old, married with 2 young sons.
I live in center of France with climat zone 7 or hard 8. I grow different plants since 15 years.
My enthusiast plants is iris, of course, (TB reblooming, spurias)and roses; I collect this 2 plants types since 12 years for roses(about 50 species or varieties) and 5 years for iris(about 100 varieties).
I'm two years old member of AIS, RIS, Spuria Iris Society and 3 years old member of SFIB (the french society for iris and bulbs).
I start this year my first crosses in iris ( I have cut today the first pods!). My interest for hybridizing is the reblooming TB in all colors, the Zurbrigg's working (for the good quality of a lot quantity of varieties), and the contrast of standards/falls colors with beards color ( I study in this moment the childs of EVENING ECHO - Innerst ??, he have a very interesting offsprings!).
REB :for Rosalie information : next week two of my iris start rebloom, CABARET ROYAL - Blyth 75 and PAGAN DANCE - Blyth 89, with a lot of flowers for the second.
