COMPANIONS?

I was so grateful for Patti's advice about companion planting for iris.  Does 
anyone out there have some other ideas for companion planting.  I know 
lupines do very well with bearded iris.   As do mid to late season peonies.   
Any others?   How about shrubs to use as a back border behind them.  Any 
suggestions?    Theo1415
