As reported in May, I got terrific % of takes during the first two weeks of
the season and then . . . nothing. The weather grew hot and dry.
To compound the situation I am harvesting small amounts of seed from those
pods that did take. Most pods are counting out at 25 or less. I'm
accustomed to most yielding 50 to 75. I did nothing different, to my
knowledge. We've had lower temperatures and more rain than recent years.
