Thank you for your response. I didn't pay particular attention to the 
rain fall, and many other elements because I didn't know what was 
coming.  But,the time period when the crosses were made was unsually 
hot and dry. About like what is normal for July and August here in 
the midwest, USA.  We had a normal spring rain period and suddenly it 
turned very hot and went into a drought that lasted at lease 6 weeks 
of more.  So unusual at this time of the year that it was the talk of 
the town.  Our local Hybridizer made a post that stated he didn't 
even get to try  one cross.  That kinda gave me the answer I was 
looking for at the time.  Just wondered what others would have to 
say.  Good luck to everyone on their seed counts.
