May I ask a favor of the iris-talk? Could everyone who experienced the situation cgdawn references please document the environmental conditions 30 days prior and running through their iris hybridizing season. How did your irises winter? Were they subject to any weather related stress that they weren't subject to in prior years? Perhaps we all could learn something. Document average temperatures and extreme temperatures. Perhaps there were ozone days? Perhaps it was really humid? Document rainfall, did it rain soon after the hybridized cross was made? Will be happy to gather the facts and try to document a consensus situation. Thank you.
