The clear plastic never broke up for me (6 ml stuff). But I don't use it
anymore after that one expirement. Since I usually only want to kill
vegetation and prevent new weed growth, not kill seeds, the black plastic
worked better for me. Plus they are both ugly landscape-wise but the black is
ever so slightly less ugly to me...
