With something as easy to grow as BLACK GAMECOCK, I'd suggest planting
another start of it in the same place. If it gets taken again, just
replant it. Eventually, you will saturate the theft market, unless it's
plain vandalism or someone concerned with invasion of exotic species <g>
This approach worked for me with a forsythia start I planted on the side
of the driveway leading to the house. Taken just as it was starting to
bloom. The replacement was left alone (so far....).
