John:
Um... though this appeals... what do you intend to do with a trap
containing one screaming cat, busily attempting to claw itself to death
in a frenzy to get out of the cage? <g>
Something tells me catching one would be worse than if it escaped!
(I know, there is an obvious solution to "where they go" but that isn't
as humerous)
Seriously, the squirt gun idea really appeals to me.
I once had a litter born under our lilac at the end of our "good" (less
weed prone) garden. Fine, cute, aw. Until a few weeks to a moth later,
and they get bigger and won't leave. And of course the mother aint so
cute either. So the only solution is to uproot them out of the garden.
Well nothing worked. Throwing dirt at them, yelling at them, hissing at
them, nuttin, honey.
Then I got a flower bucket out... a little cold water shower and BOOM
they were outta site! Other than being really wet and grumpy, they were
fine, and they never showed their whiskers in my garden again. Now I
just wish I could do that to the eastern red squirrel, the most annoying
creature on earth.... (poor local chipmunks never had a chance.)
