I think of YOUR HIT PARADE on the radio and TV. Poor old Snooky Lansen
and Gisele Mackenzie could sing just so many songs. YHP had its limits.
The Symposium must have its limits, too.
It was not ogres that made the list or limited it to 100. It was WE THE PEOPLE
who cast our votes..
It was just in the last two or three years that write-in votes were removed from
the symposium. Write-ins simply did not work! As far as I can recall, there were
never enough to ever report. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't believe a write-in
ever made it to the top 100.
