Yes, Doris, of course we know you are normal.  I thought what you described was the way a normal person ought  to react to a newly-arrived iris order.  Mine from Keith Keppel came today--Superstition's arrived a couple weeks back--and both were fantastic in every way, and I did exactly the same thing you did:  looked each rhizome over carefully, stopped myself from drooling on them because............well, just because, and then went into a sort of trance.   Wonderful how much pleasure a box of new "toys" can bring!!   May you all have such joy!!!!    Now if I can just find the space to plant all these things, because the extras are more than I expected, and already I was pushing my space needs.  Maybe the fact that I'm losing quite a few to scorch will turn out to be a backwards  blessing, since that will make room for new things.
