I remember that list. I still have it stored on excel as it happens. I
have it sorted by type, rather than by votes, because that was how I was
interested in using it. At one time I think the results were stored in the
archives, but enough time has lapsed it's probably no longer there. The
collection of data for compiling this list was derived from submissions of
list members. All groups of iris were welcome. The number of names a
member could submit was not limited. The end result, while proving
absolutely nothing, was interesting. While TBs got the most mentions, other
types were mentioned often enough that the top twenty three ended with a BB,
a SIB, 2 IBs and I. evansia. If you went to the top 32, you could add
another IB and SIB along with an LA, MTB, and SDB. Many of the current
Symposium names are on the list which was compiled in 1999. The entire list
ended up with 1,224 names being submitted, many having only one vote with
DUSKY CHALLENGER getting the most at 17 votes. It was interesting. It was
also a chore. I'm not much interested in computer mechanics, so promptly
forget something after I've used it. The result was several 'start all over
again' with the whole list because I scrambled it and saved the scramble. I
don't remember how many times I started over from scratch before I got the
hang of things and was careful enough not to ruin what I'd done. Still, in
the end, it had some interesting facets. E.g. DUSKY CHALLENGER, for all it
got the most votes, got almost none at all from hot, sunny locations.

if they would still be on my list now. I can only remember two for sure.
At least one still would make it and I've added a lot of iris since then.
