CAT: Blyth Irises and Bay View Gardens

I don't currently get the Keppel catalog (have to limit expenses
some how :)) but I have ordered Blyth varieties from Joe and from Barry
(Tempo Two) directly. I have had success with the ones shipped direct form
Australia, but it is tricky to acclimatize them and you really lose a year.
The recent Blyth varieties I get from Bay View (Joe Ghio) are huge healthy
rhizomes and appear to have been stateside at least 2 years. I would guess
that Barry sends varieties out in advance of introduction to both Keith and
Joe - can anyone confirm this ?
Joe has begun shipping already and so may be out of some varieties.
For example I received mine almost 2 weeks ago including Blyth's Glitterati,
Mastery, Ingenuous and Touch of Mahogany.
