Maybe I can explain my questions better this way . . . I'm frustrated  with 
the way things are going with my pink 'lines.'  But, this is not  unusual.  I 
have some pinks I really like. It's just that the  rebloom is lagging behind!  
Way behind.  
 
I was playing with the idea of doing something crazy like  RENOWN  X PINK 
ATTRACTION and then taking the absolute best of that  cross and putting PA (or a 
pink seedling) back on it. For me PA is too  short, lacks branching etc.  
RENOWN is half  VIOLET MIRACLE.   RENOWN is incredibly strong here.  Doesn't have 
to be RENOWN but it has to  be tall, strong, etc. And rebloom well.  
 
My incomplete knowledge of genetics said this should work!  My  questions 
were an attempt to determine if I was looking at the need to bloom 50  plants 
from my initial cross OR if I'd need to bloom 1000.  This is why I  said 
percentages.  
 
I can handle 1/6 or maybe even 1/36, after all I'm the person that's  planted 
approximately 150 seedlings from the same cross!But, when the odds get  
beyond 1/36, even I have to question my sanity!  If it's  something that just can't 
happen because of a genetic 'block' (for lack of a  better way to state it) 
then I don't want to waste my time on this path.
