RE: HYB: Out crossing on pink irises

Francelle, even though the beard color on MESMERIZER is ambiguous, it is
actually a tangerine bearded--tttt--iris.  Crossed with pinks or any other
t-colored iris, all the seedlings should be tttt regardless what they look
like.

Byers' registration records the beards as "tangerine."  In many gardens they
don't look very red however.  Tangerine beards can vary over a wide range in
color, and vary with location, soil, temperatures and I don't know what
other factors.  They just vary a lot.

Yes, there are tttt irises in its ancestry.
