Here in Northern Ohio temperatures have been in the high 80s to low 90s for 
over a month, but we also did not have any rain to speak of for two months.  
Although irises are quite drought tolerant, we have found that some irises not 
watered during this period have developed brown tips.  This has affected dwarf 
irises more than tall beardeds.  At least we are not seeing any leaf spot, as 
we did last year.
