I am very proud to anounce that I have joined the TB ranks! Of my
experiment with 4 varieties all are alive and three bloomed, Little Red
Devil and Supersition bloomed just two weeks ago, Beverly Sills is blooming
now and Chinese Treasure suffered a small setback.
My question concerns itself with LRDevil, can someone confirm the colour:
deep mahogany red with yellowish beards. And I am having a lot of trouble
keeping it upright, it is now Trailing LRDevil. What causes some TB's to
flop, too much rain, fertilizer, very sandy soil? The other 3 are fine,
well Chinese Treasure is very small so doesn't count.
Most of my iris collection consists of Dwarfs, siberians, spurias and a
number of species. My experiment with TB's gives me hope that a number
will survive up here in zone 3b.
thanks, Anne
