RE: OT: PBF Project -- RIP

I joined the list after I came back from the convention. I have no idea =
what project you are referring to. Is it still in the archives for me to =
look up and what should I search for, i.e., what does PBF stand for?

Actually, I probably should have pulled the plug months ago -- but I was

This year, we started discussing the project before bloom started in the
south and continued as bloom progressed northward. There was a lot of =3D

initial enthusiasm, but very few people actually got around to making the=3D

observations and sending them in. =3D

I took the analysis far enough to determine that we are woefully short of=

enough data to detect a significant trend, either geographical or
chronological. I got only about 10% of the number of observations I
thought we'd need -- and most of them were clustered in the south and wes=

This was just enough to show that my original estimate had been on the l=

another year.

If someone else wants to volunteer to crunch the data, though....
