OT-CHAT-Books, Oysters, and Books about Oysters

Greetings,

There has been some talk of books and of the oysters of France, providing me
with a very rare opportunity to recommend to a group of irisarians, perhaps
as a little summer break, one of the finest books I know on any subject. It
is called The Oysters of Locmariaquer, and it was written by Eleanor Clark,
who was also Mrs. Robert Penn Warren, and it received the 1964 National Book
Award in Arts and Letters. The subject is the oysters and the people of
Brittany, it is non-fiction, and, once read, it is never forgotten.
