Rusty,
The instructions I received called for a 10:1 bleach solution, and a 1
hour soak. Looking at your 24-48 hours and more dilute solution, maybe
its not all that critical. Incidentally, if you are a hybridizer, I'd
love to see a new iris called "Rusty Buckets."

I also clorox all irises. I fill a bucket full of water...(a
