No. I recommended that members not order anything from the AIS Store until
September 1 (the store is being moved and back orders are being filled.
They need a little time to get organized and caught up). The membership
secretary is a completely different function, and there is no reason not to
join the AIS now if you wish (and I encourage you to do so). You can get
info on joining the AIS and/or any sections or cooperating societies on the
AIS web site.
