Have any of you tried growing pure arils in containers? I grow some iris
wattii in containers to regulate their water supply (they need lots of it).
I don't know why I never thought of using this technique (but in reverse)
for arils!
During the summer I could bring them indoors when there is threat of rain.
Otherwise I could keep them outdoors year 'round.
