Well, Orthrosanthos is definitely a member of the Iridaceae. Two
varieties (laxus and multiflorus) are Australian Natives. I can not find
chimboracensis in any of my books. They are related to the Sisyrinchiums
and there are 7 species of the genus. If you want general information on
the Orthrosanthus family I can either post it direct to you or to the list
if others are interested.
