David,

If any of these Irises are still being grown, I am sure that the
Historic Iris Preservation Society has some information. I have a couple
of Historic Louisiana Irises, and one Historic TB Iris that I am trying to
grow.

> I currently live in Logan, Utah, which is zone 5 (officially, but we
> sometimes drop to zone 4).

I am on the "border" of USDA Zones 8 and 9. It is interesting to be
seeing what will grow here, since I have lived here only since the end of
last September.
