Steve, I have Phantom Mist; it bloomed as a one year old and this year
had 4 stalks as a 2 year old, and I LOVE it! Here's the description from
Comanche Acres' catalog (Gower, Missouri):
"Phantom Mist is certainly a proper term to use on this strange iris
with its ghostly shades of blue. Beards are burnt gold. Florets are
ruffled and fluted. Bud count of nine with excellent branching."
It's much lighter than the catalog picture, but not real pale except
inside, which makes it look ghostly to me too. Glad it's getting around!
Cheers, Barb
