Greetings,

Chris is the too-often-unsung hero of this and several other fine
horticultural mailing lists which he archives and/or supports at Mallorn. He
does this for us all at financial cost to himself because he believes is
important to do so. And he is correct. These Archives are a remarkable
compendium of plant-lore and I have found them of inestimable value over and
over and over. I not only consult the Iris Archives, I also browse the
Archives of other lists I do not have time to join, and I see many familiar
names there. We all owe a debt to Chris, and I would like to acknowledge mine
publicly.

Thank you, Chris, for your vision and generosity.
