Personally, I think the potato in the oven, and the pod stalk in a glass
of fresh water. ;-))
I found that the potato rotted very quickly, and started the stem
rotting.
According to Griff Crump (where is that man??) the pod should be OK by 8
weeks, just to let dry, even if the seeds are a little on the small
side.
