This is fascinating!  I've never heard of crossing LAs with non-LAs.  I'd
love to see a photograph of that.  Are these things available commercially
yet?

Tetraploid LAs have been hard for me to find too, but I'm getting my first
one shipped to me in September.  Are there many out there?
