I'm sure you and your bride enjoyed the peaches but not the tummy ache.
Even we who live in the states have been caught up in this net and find
ourselves eating up the fresh goodies we have been hording at a border
I did have to chuckle ,been there- done that! Only with 3 little children
in tow!
Most of the time border inspections are for the benifit of the majority-
protecting the native foliage, protecting vital crops, but the polish meats
wasn't that somewhat political and a means of trying to keep the protein sorce
within the country? Now how meat and iris plants come together at the border
is someone elses guess.
