I use water from the septic tank. Ok, I can see some funny expressions on
your faces. Actually I plant vegetables like zucchini, pumpkin, globe
artichoke, potatoes, rhubarb, in the soil above the septic tank drainage
sumps. These are large drains, about 1' diameter, bluestone chips on the
base, and covered with reln drain, which is a length of arched black
corrugated plastic under which the water runs.
I also grow Louisianna irises over one of the lengths of drain. They put
their feeder roots right into the large sump drains underneath, and grow
like crazy. The fruit trees get most of their water from the same source.
AND those were the days when jeans were good until they could
>stand by themselves in a corner!
In those days, jeans could stand up by themselves when you bought them.
