Hi Christy
I too have my vegie garden over the septic soak. Grows wonderful corn and
pumpkins etc. Also all my fruits that hate to dry out, Kiwi Fruit, Hazelnuts
and Blueberries. The top of the soil is fairly dry throughout summer, but
underneath is constant moisture and lots of nutrients. Enables them to
survive the summer hot blasts of wind. Aslo helpful for things that don't
like the higher salt content of the bore, as the house runs on rainwater.
