It has been awhile since I posted, but do enjoy reading everyone's
story about their garden of irises and what is going on throughout
the states, weather and all.
Our irises are almost gone for the season with a few slow pokes along
the way. We had a beautiful bloom season with improved growth due to
all the amendments that were added to the soil last fall. It does
make a difference. In the very early spring, we added tripple 15 to
all the beds, and when the irises started growing they took off.
What a difference!
We have updated our web page, adding more beautiful flowers from this
years bloom. If anyone finds an iris in question, please email us so
we can check out the identification and remove it from our list. We
don't want to send it on to someone else and sometimes it can be
identified from the grower. There are times when the wrong iris slips
through our eye sight. I did find a few that were sent to me last
year that were not right. It sometimes happens, but we like to catch
them.
Keep up the good work on the list!
