The water problems have been very interesting. I live in a rural farming
area in south central Kansas, USA. The ground water is not suitable for
drinking in this area so we have a community water system. I pay $8.16 per
month for household water. Several years ago a well was put in for watering
the yard & garden as using the community water was very expensive ($50.00
per month). I also use grass clippings for mulch except on the iris. Most
of my plants are drought tolerant.
