Limda. instead of Queen of Rot, you should be called "Breaker of Codes
Detective" Maybe the FBI should add you to their staff! I had no idea
that seedling numbers were decipherable (sp? if a word). I thought they were
meant to confuse so no one could tell how long that iris had been lurking in
the iris patch before introduction!!
It was wonderful to finally meet you at HIPS - that's what meetings ae all
about. Irises are wonderful to see, but the people are special! To again
see old friends and make new ones. I didn't see some of my old iris friends
that I had in my garden when I first started with irises, but I was pleased
to see those that were labeled to make it easier to remember! And I was
happy to find some plants - I know many were wondering where I was going to
put all I bought -- what they didn't know, that most were small(low-growing)
plants to put in front of the iris beds so my garden wouldn't look
"commercial" - I like other flowers, too. Some things are already in the
ground, but I can't even think in this kind of heat, so I'm housebound and
confined to clearing desk, tables, etc of junk mail etc.
Rosalie nr Baltimore,USA where we have lost glorious cool weather and now
in usual hot miserable regular June weather with some kind of "code" to warn
of poor atmospheric conditions for our health! zone 7 ryfigge@aol.com
