Re: OT-BIO

Welcome, Laureen. You're just down the road a little ways from here. Do you belong to any local iris society? I suppose the one in Omaha is too far for active participation, just as we are (Siouxland Iris Society, centered in Sioux City), though we'd love to have you join us. The one in Norfolk is probably a bit far, too. We really have good times together, and, of course, when there is a regional meeting, as there was just 2 weeks ago, we get to renew friendships with people in those other clubs or make new friends. I hope you can get involved, as we do have lots of fun, fellowship, food, and we find out lots of things we didn't know about iris. Meanwhile, you can do the latter on this list, too, and contribute information and, occasionally, your own acquired knowledge and experience. Welcome, indeed!
Arnold
P.S. (At least living this close and being in lots of contact with Nebraska and Nebraska people, it never occurred to me to think Ne was anything else. :-)
