James, you are up there where it all began! Do you ever go to
the Carter Fold and can you pick the "Wildwood Flower?" The
lyrics from A. P. Carter really grab you. Like the "Cyclone at Rye
Cove." And, of course, so many more!
Anner, has the state song issue been settled? Though not
from VA, I was allowed to express my opinion on a website in the
form of a vote for "Longin' for old Virginia," one from the Carter
Family.
Not a musician, but a listener and collector, mainly of primitive
American music.
